Lochkander Flat Coated Retrievers

Lochkander is a little Lochan high up on the Glenshee/Lochnagar Plateau. The Loch is exceptionally deep and was referred to by Queen Victoria as "Wild and dark" just like a Flatcoat!! The surrounding moorland is rich in wildlife and ruggedly beautiful!

As a family, when the off-spring were younger, we all used to go skiing very close to that area.

We have owned Flatcoats for 20 years now and have a great time bringing them up! They are such loving, fun and cheeky dogs to own. The joy that they bring every day is unimagineable, they bring sunshine to the gloomest of days!!
